Studio

Mikadoo architecture office was founded in 2005 in Dessau, Germany  by Architect Maximiliano Piperno, under the influence of his Bauhaus experience and driven by a multidisciplinary approach to design.

Unleash your Potential

Like people, projects have a potential below the surface. This imperceptible potential singularize the intervention. Can be given by the type of project, by the location, by the client or even by constraints conditions to its development. The first step in the beginning of a project is to visualize this potential.

Lao-Tzu said “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Unleash the potential is the first one for us.

Glo-Cal

Traveling is the most stimulating way to understand that a project must be the permanent sum of global values with local situations.

The global references must converge consistently in a space of a neighborhood with its own smells, colors and spirit.

Plug-in

We are an open source studio. We look for the permanent value transfer with collaborators and the development of proposals with other teams. Our success comes from our willingness to embrace teams with a positive state-of-mind, open attitude and excellent communication skills. This results in built works of  an interdisciplinary effort that enrich our clients.

Practice

We are great believers in a multidisciplinary approach, where specialists from all the various fields (and the clients) share ideas right from the start and inspire one another to unleash the potential of all of us and come up with a nutritive process and fresh and unexpected projects.
